We celebrated Earth Day with a charity tree planting event! We joined the registered charity 10000 Treeshttps://www.10000trees.com/ and a large contingent of volunteers, approximately 500 people to plant various trees, bushes, shrubs, including: service berry, sugar maple, bur oak, red oak, choke cherry, bitternut hickory, and black walnut.

We enjoyed the spring like weather after a long winter. We also met our good friends City of Markham Mayor, Frank Scarpitti and Markham Regional councillor, Nirmala Armstrong.

We also made a donation to 10000 trees as part of our commitment to support Canadian registered charities in the area of preservation of the environment.
