Topic: Improving Mental Health for Seniors with Ayurveda

Dr. Leena Athparia BA, BSc, ND, AAWC, Naturopathic Doctor and Ayurveda Practitioner, shared her knowledge with us on how to improve mental health for seniors with Ayurveda.

She discussed:

* The 3 doshas, 5 elements, 3 gunas and agni.

*Ayurveda perspective on mental health.

* Ayurvedic self-care practices & tips.

Dr. Leena Athparia shared how dosha imbalances have an effect on mental health, which is a balance of strong agni, balanced doshas and gunas. She provided our attendees with tips on how to balance their doshas and improve their mental well-being.

After the webinar, our attendees were given an online quiz to determine their doshas to understand their pitta, vata and kapha, and take everything they learned and practice the tips provided.
