Event Description:

We campaigned to collect donations for Evergreen. We gave the donation on Earth Day and also participated in a Earth Day Tree planting event organized by the City of Mississauga, Ecosource and Evergreen Canada. The Ward 3 City Councillor, Chris Fonseca, spoke on the giving nature of trees and the importance of tree planting.

We made wildflower seed balls that were thrown into unplanted areas. We were also given seeds to plant vegetables, which will in turn be donated to the local food banks, providing healthy meals for those in need.
