Topic: Aging Brain – What can happen to our brain as we age?

What a wonderful turnout! We partnered with the City of Markham and Armadale Older Adult Club to hold the Positive Living – Aging Brain and Intuitive Meditation For Better Mental Health.
Our event was kicked off with introductions by Ranjiv Puri, President AOAC and Satya Arora, Secretary AOAC.
Stacey Mendonca, Public Education Coordinator for the Alzheimer Society of York Region, gave a presentation on the parts of the brain and what they do, the difference between Depression, Dementia, Delirium and how to keep a healthy brain.
Cindy Mankasingh, Certified Instructor from Centre for Conscious Awareness – Canada, gave a demonstration of Arka Dhyana Intuitive Meditation which is a method that can improve our mental health.
We concluded the event with light snacks and refreshments.
