We were fortunate to usher in the New Year 2020 with an inspiring dinner event with Srinivas Arka, founder of CCA Globally. Arka spoke on How to cope with the fast changing world and maintain intuitive strength.
Seniors from the city of Markham and the surrounding area participated in an eclectic event Positive Living – Mental Health Awareness. They learned the many different ways to improve their mental health, which includes Arka Dhyana Intuitive Meditation, Brain Health and Wellness project and Drumming for stress relief.
Seniors from the York Region led and participated in the Positive Living - Financial Fraud and Abuse Awareness event funded by the New Horizons for Seniors program. Participants were treated to excellent speakers, a seniors panel, a focus group session, Arka Dhyana Intuitive meditation demonstration and
a vegetarian lunch.
We were invited by Ryerson University Internationally Trained Medical Doctors (ITMD) Bridging Program to speak on stress management.
We joined the registered charity 10,000 Trees For the Rouge to plant trees to celebrate Earth Day.
We partnered with the City of Markham and Armadale Older Adult Club to hold the Positive Living – Aging Brain and Intuitive Meditation For Better Mental Health.
Thank you to Scarborough Centre for Healthy Communities (SCHC) for inviting CCA-Canada to hold regular meditation classes for seniors diagnosed with early onset dementia.
